A week of connection and culture: KI at UMH International Staff Week

Earlier this month, Karolinska Institutet participated in the Erasmus+ International Staff Week hosted by Universidad Miguel Hernández (UMH) in Elche, Spain – a key partner in NeurotechEU, the European University of Brain and Technology.
The program brought together administrative and academic staff from across Europe for a week of knowledge exchange, institutional networking, and cultural immersion. The goal: to build stronger ties between universities and foster collaboration on education and innovation in the field of brain and technology.
Representing KI, Anurupa Nagchowdhury, Education Administrator at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics, shares her experience in a blog post that reflects on both the professional and personal value of taking part in such an initiative. From engaging presentations and fruitful discussions to exploring Elche’s rich heritage, the staff week proved to be a memorable and impactful event.
