Would you like to be a Residence Assistant?

As a Residence Assistant, you will play an important role as the link between tenants and KI Housing staff. The position suits someone who is socially engaged, responsible and enjoys working with people.

Main responsibilities

• Provide support to tenants in KI Residence Solna during non-office hours 
• Plan and arrange social activities to create a community where tenants get to know each other. 
• Respond to certain emergency situations 
• Manage and handle a master key 

Examples of duties

• Organize events and online introduction meetings for incoming tenants
• Assist the KI Housing staff with practical tasks
• Assist tenants who are locked out of their rooms or apartments
• Support new tenants if issues arise upon arrival
• Participate in regular meetings with KI Housing and the RA team
• Stay informed about actual guidelines to guide and advise tenants

Profile

We are looking for a dependable, structured and well-organized individual who can work independently. We also value someone who is proactive and self-driven. An outgoing personality and a genuine interest in socializing with neighbours and corridor mates are highly valued. 

Strong communication skills in English and a positive attitude are essential.

Position requirements

• You need to be a KI Housing tenant and live in KI Residence Solna
• You must plan to study or conduct research at KI until at least December 2026
• You need to have a Swedish personal number to take this employment

About the employment

• Part-time employment, about 30 hours a month
• Hourly salary
• Holiday allowance
• Starting time: Mid/end of May 2026
