Welcome Vilma Hargéus, new HR partner at the Department of Dental Medicine and the University Dental Clinic

On 1 June 2026, it was the first working day for Vilma, our new HR partner. Read the interview with her here.
What is your role? What will you be working on?
My role is to support the managers at the department throughout the recruitment process, while also working strategically to ensure the organisation has the right skills and expertise in both the short and long term. My focus will be on attracting, recruiting, and planning for future skills needs.
What are you most looking forward to about working here?
I am looking forward to getting to know the organisation and my new colleagues, as well as working with long-term workforce planning. From onboarding to offboarding, I will help ensure that we both recruit and retain strong talent within the organisation. It also feels very meaningful to be part of an organisation that works to improve people’s health and quality of life.
Where have you come from most recently, and what have you done previously?
Most recently, I worked at HCM Partner, where I was employed as a recruitment consultant within the IT/Tech sector for approximately 5.5 years. There, I worked both as an external consultant for several different clients in parallel and as a contracted consultant at a larger company. I am used to managing the entire recruitment process, from needs analysis and role profile to offer and appointment. I have also worked extensively with proactive recruitment and headhunting for roles where there is a shortage of skills in the market.
What do you do when you are not working?
In my free time, I spend a lot of time with my partner, family, and friends. I enjoy travelling, thrive in social settings, and like practising yoga and pilates.
