New lecturer at the division of occupational therapy.

What is your mission at NVS? / What will you be working with?

”Teaching.”

Which division will you be working in?

”The Occupational Therapy Program, in the Department of Occupational Therapy.”

What do you look forward to the most in your new position?

”Being in an academic environment where both students and teachers are eager to learn new things, are curious, and want to share new knowledge with each other.”

Where have you been active before and what have you done earlier?

”I was previously a doctoral student at KI. I defended my thesis in 2022. After that, I was affiliated with the Department of Women's and Children's Health while also being employed outside KI. Most recently, I was employed at Örebro University, in the Department of Health Sciences.”

When you are not working, what do you do for recreation?

”In addition to my time at NVS, I have external funding for research on cerebral palsy. I also have a steering group assignment in CPUP, which is a national follow-up program and quality register for people with CP. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, skiing, hiking, working out at the gym, playing golf, cooking, gardening, and traveling with my family.”

Are you reading a book at the moment? Which one?

”I have just started "A Life Worth Living" by Christian Ruck. A very interesting book that covers both philosophical and historical thoughts about life. Highly recommended!”

Tell us about the most beautiful place you have visited? 

”There are so many beautiful places around the world. Everything is relative 😊. I am particularly fond of Croatia and Italy.”

What makes you happy?

”Seeing other people really happy.”
