The Florman Award 2024 goes to Hugo Zeberg
The Florman Award, which is annually given for a printed dissertation in physiology or anatomy, has been awarded this year to Hugo Zeberg.

Zeberg receives the prize for his groundbreaking studies on archaic gene variants and their physiological and medical significance for modern humans. The award is given every other year in biological sciences and every other year in medical sciences, and the recipient must be permanently active in Sweden.
