Strengthened positions for KI in Times Higher Education's subject ranking
Times Higher Education (THE) in the UK has published its subject ranking World University Rankings by Subject 2026. The ranking is based on both hard data and reputation surveys. For the third year in a row, KI improves its ranking in the subject "Medical and Health".
In this year's THE ranking, KI improves its ranking in the subject "Medical and Health" for the third year in a row. This year to number 12 in the world, from place 13 a year ago and place 16 the year before.
For "Life Sciences", the ranking improves two notches to place 29. In "Psychology", KI moves to place 34, from place 29 in last year's world ranking.
In Europe, KI is now ranked fifth in "Medical and Health" and first place in the EU, in "Life Sciences" place seven in Europe and place two in the EU. For "Psychology", the positions are ten in Europe and six in the EU.
In the autumn of 2025, the overall list of all subject areas was published, with KI ranking 53rd in the world, 14th in Europe and 6th in the EU.
