KI is working to increase the internationalization of its educational programmes. The aim is to increase quality and diversity and to prepare KI's students for work in a global labor market.

Regular and deputy

For each program at the Department of Dentistry, there should be a person responsible for internationalization, now both regular and deputy are sought. You distribute the tasks among yourselves. The assignment is expected to fill 10 + 5 percent of a full-time position. The assignment will start at the end of 2024/beginning of 2025.

Being responsible for the internationalization of the program means

  • You are a member of the institution's international committee, SAMINK (an advisory body working on program internationalization).
  • You are responsible for the internationalization of the programme.
  • You promote international faculty and student exchanges.
  • You are responsible for decisions on the prioritization and approval of students for international student exchanges.
  • You are responsible for deciding on the prioritization and approval of teachers for international teacher exchanges.
  • You are responsible for decisions on proposals for program-specific international student and teacher exchange agreements (KU approves)
  • Decisions on bilateral cooperation agreements are included in the responsibilities of the assignment.
  • You are responsible for decisions on credit transfer in connection with studies abroad, where several courses are affected by the credit transfer.
  • You are responsible for deciding on special course offerings for incoming exchange students.
  • Deciding on travel reports is also a responsibility included in the assignment.
