Clarivate has unveiled its 2024 list of Highly Cited Researchers, recognizing individuals whose work has had significant global influence in their fields. Petter Brodin is one of them.

Researchers from Karolinska Institutet (KI) are among those honored, highlighting their outstanding contributions to science and medicine. This recognition is based on analysis of citation data from the Web of Science, which identifies researchers with extensive influence through widely cited publications.

Petter Brodin's research is about immunology, computational biology and pediatrics. His research description reads: Our multidisciplinary aims to understand human immune system variation in health and disease, its origins early in life and the influences of microbes and learning the principles of human immune system regulation. To achieve this we develop novel experimental and computational tools that enable systems-level analyses of all the white blood cells in human blood samples and their functional regulation.

The 2024 list includes over 6,600 researchers from various disciplines worldwide, reflecting exceptional impact and the dissemination of knowledge in critical areas. The inclusion of researchers from KI underscores the institute's commitment to advancing medical science and innovation.
