The SE-Alert warning system will be tested on 7 September
On Monday September 7 at 3.00 pm, Sweden's new emergency alert system SE-Alert, will be tested. The emergency alert system vill send a message to all mobile phones in Stockholm.
During the test, you will receive a text message accompanied by a loud audible signal and vibration - even if your mobile is in silent mode.
As this is a test, you do not need to take any action. The test is conducted by The Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency, the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority and SOS Alarm.
