Routines for support and service at MEB
Routines for support and services as MEB have changed a little after the restrictions were lifted and we now have a hybrid workplace at KI.
Executive group/head of department
For questions to the executive group, requests for signatures or letters of support, always email prefekt@meb.ki.se. For pre-questions, contact Gunilla Sonnebring. For signatures we mainly use digital solutions but the head of administration and the vice heads are available for real signatures as necessary.
HR
If you need to reach HR please e-mail HR-support@meb.ki.se. For new personnel KI-ID and login details will be sent to the manager and the IDAC administrators, who will inform the employee.
IT
If you need to reach IT please use IT-support@meb.ki.se. For new personnel MEB-ID and login details will be handed out by MEB-IT or sent to the manager, who will inform the employee.
Internal services
Contact Internal services for all errands. Email internservice@meb.ki.se or phone Frank, 08-524 861 00. Frank opens the front desk (formerly the reception) daily between 13:00 and 14:00.
Opening hours Monday-Thursday 08.00-16.00 and Friday 08.00-15.00 (closed for lunch). Internal services will continue to use the postal office slots to leave things for you and you can also leave things there for them. Please use the slot "Internservice".
Access card: If you are new at MEB and an access card has been ordered for you by a manager or administrator you can go directly to the reception in Aula Medica, bring your photo ID and let them know you are at MEB and that information has been sent to them. If you already have an access card at MEB and need a new one or other help, please contact internservice@meb.ki.se. Almost all problems with access cards can be dealt with without having your physical card.
Activate your access card: When you have made a new card at Aula Medica take a photo of the card front and back and send a request with photos to internservice@meb.ki.se to activate it, also include the 4 digit code you want.
Keys: For keys and the certificate to sign for new keys please use the postal slots for pick up and drop off. To return your key please contact internservice@meb.ki.se and make an arrangement. Don’t forget to return your key when you leave MEB!
Deliveries and postal services are handled by Internal services as usual.
Staff meeting/faculty events/seminars/dissertations
As the restrictions are lifted, all large meetings are now held on location at MEB.
- The staff meeting is held in Ljusgården 9.30 every Monday.
- Faculty events are held most Tuesdays 11.00 in Wargentin.
- Seminars, admission seminars and dissertations are usually held on zoom and on site.
