5–14 October: Ventilation temporarily switched off due to maintenance in Biomedicum
Akademiska Hus is installing UPS units in Biomedicum’s equipment cabinets to strengthen the property’s operational reliability. The work will be carried out in the mornings to minimise disruption to laboratory work.
During the installation, the ventilation and associated systems will be shut down according to the below schedule. Each interruption is expected to last no more than 1.5 hours.
This may cause alarms and operational disruptions in equipment connected to the ventilation system, such as fume hoods, biosafety cabinets connected to the ventilation system, and similar equipment. Affected research groups are asked to plan their work around the specified interruption times.
Never work in a fume hood or a biosafety cabinet that is sounding an alarm
