Below is information about automatically charged monthly permits, changed garage codes in Flemingsberg, and fines/control fees issued in January.

Automatically charged monthly permits at the turn of January/February

At the turn of January to February, many were surprised when the monthly parking permit was charged automatically to their payment card. KI had not been informed about this in advance.

It appears that some employees who had notifications enabled in the Smart Park app and an email address registered in their account received an advance message about the charge, while others received no message at all.

On the start page of the Smart Park app, you will see your digital parking decal/permit at the top, and below it your active ticket. If you have more than two tickets, you have been affected by a double charge. It is important that you contact Smart Parkering and request a refund at info@smartp.se or phone 0771-80 88 80.

New garage codes for the garage under Alfred Nobels allé 8/10 in Flemingsberg:

The codes have now been updated:

  • Parking area/Zone 12409 now refers to Staff day rate in the garage for all unreserved spaces = 110 SEK/day
  • Parking area/Zone 124091 now refers to Charging stations for staff in the garage = 130 SEK/day

Fines/control fees issued in January

During the month of January, both Aimo Park’s December parking decal and the new digital parking decal from Smart Parkering were supposed to be valid in parallel, as January was a transition period according to information from Smart Parkering before the contract took effect.

If you received a fine/control fee during this period despite having one of these parking decals and a valid ticket, it is important that you contact Smart Parkering and file an appeal. Read more here.

If your appeal does not receive a positive response, you may then contact Peter Brask at peter.brask@akademiskahus.se. Include a photo of the fine, your license plate number, and an explanation, so he can contact Smart Parkering and ask them to review the case.
