About the Sven Gard sholarship

This scholarship was established in 2004, where part of the funds in KI's foundation for virus research (which was founded by professor Sven Gard) would be used to pay attention to the past year's best thesis in virology. The purpose of the foundation is to promote virus research at Karolinska Institutet, primarily that conducted by junior, unpromoted researchers.
