Jesper Lagergren awarded research grants from the Swedish Research Council
Professor Jesper Lagergren from the research group Upper GI Surgery, the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery, receives research grants of SEK 13 million from the Swedish Research Council.
The research grant runs for five years and relates to the project "Register-based research on obesity, reflux and cancer of the upper gastrointestinal tract".
Professor Jesper Lagergren in the Upper GI Surgery group is the main applicant and co-applicants are Pernilla Lagergren, Shaohua Xie, Giola Santoni, Sheraz Markar and Helen Rosenlund in the Surgical Care Science group.
