International Day of Women and Girls in Science

We are very proud of all our employees at the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery but today at the "International Day of Women and Girls in Science" we want to pay special attention to our female researchers!

At the Department, we are approximately 600 members, of whom 260 are female researchers. They are active in both preclinical and clinical research in many different areas such as genetics, endocrinology and surgery. Of our 34 professors, 41% are women.
