Gunilla Karlsson Hedestam awarded Distinguished Professor Grant from VR
Gunilla Karlsson Hedestam has been awarded a Distinguished Professor Grant from Vetenskapsrådet, one of 5 recipients at Karolinska Institutet. The grant for the project "Genetic studies of antibody diversity" consists of a 5 Million SEK yearly grant over a ten year period for a total amount of 50 Million SEK.
The aim of the Distinguished Professors Grant programme is to create conditions for the most distinguished researchers to conduct long-term, innovative research with great potential to achieve scientific breakthroughs. The grant will also promote the establishment and development of a research environment of highest quality.
