What does our employee Indu Motwani do during the day? Let's find out what the administrative officer of international projects usually do.

What are your main areas of work?

– Project Management of EU projects, from grant applications to reporting of the project and supporting PI's for application other international projects at NVS.

Describe a typical day at work 

– There is no typical day at work, it is different from day to day, depending on which area of work I am focusing on.  I may receive questions from applications for grants, finance, human resources, procurement, legal office, other colleagues within KI and other partners of KI.

How do you work together with the NVS finance team?

– I work closely with James Bangura at the finance team for managing the EU projects and application for other international grants. James  is the bridge between the finance team and the international research project management. In addition, he is working on managing some EU and NIH projects. 

What does networking look like at Campus Syd? 

– Campus Syd meets every month to discuss different issues with EU and NIH projects. The Grants office coordinator also attends our meeting every second month. 

How much do you collaborate with Grants Office?

– We collaborate regularly with grants office from pre-applications for all the grants to reporting stage for EU/NIH projects.

What is the most enjoyable part of your job?

– As mentioned in the above question, no day looks the same so there is always something new to learn. This position also allows me to meet a lot of new people regularly.
