Four researchers at NVS receive grants from CIMED

The grants are distributed over three years: 2010-2022.

Erika Franzén, Associate Professor at the division of physiotherapy, receives 1 700 000 SEK in total for her project ”Effekter av intensiv motor-kognitiv träning kopplade till neurologiska biomarkörer hos personer med neurologiska sjukdomar”.

Miia Kivipelto, Professor at the Division of Clinical Geriatrics, receives 1 800 000 SEK in total for her project  ”World Wide-FINGERS multimodal precision prevention toolbox for dementia in Alzheimer’s disease”.

Agneta Nordberg, Professor at the Division of Clinical Geriatrics, receives 1 700 000 SEK in total for her project ”Karaktärisering med molekylär PET imaging tauopatier vid neurodegenerativa demenssjukdomar”.

Eric Westman, Senior Lecturer at the Division of Clinical Geriatrics, receives 1 700 000 SEK in total for his project ”A brain imaging study to unravel the heterogeneity within Alzheimer disease towards new therapies and personalized medicine”.
