Docent Committee – assessment of associate professor appointments

The Docent Committee is responsible for the preparation, expert review, and decision-making on matters related to applications for docent appointments at KI. The Committee plays a central role in ensuring a consistent, fair and high-quality assessment of qualifications in research and education.  

Ahead of the upcoming term of office, KI is seeking seven members, including a chair and vice-chair. The scope of the role varies from 10–20 per cent of full-time employment, depending on the role.

The Recruitment Committee – preparation of teaching appointments 

The Recruitment Committee is responsible for preparing and assessing qualifications in connection with the appointment and promotion of teaching staff, including professors, senior lecturers and assistant lecturers. The Committee also acts as a preparatory body for policy documents in this area.

KI is now seeking 10 members, including a chair and vice-chair, for the Recruitment Committee. The role involves assessing applications, participating in interviews and submitting proposals for decisions in accordance with current regulations. The scope of the role as a member varies from approximately 10 to 40 per cent of full-time employment, depending on the role.
