Engaged participants at the Advances in Health Care Sciences conference 2024
Doctoral students and others showcased their achievments during the Advances in Health Care Sciences 2024 conference held at ANA23, campus Flemingsberg on November 14-15.
The Research School in Health Science (FiH) together with the Strategic Research Area Health Care Science (SFO-V) organized the conference.
The conference is a tradition, held for doctoral students for over twenty years. The focus of the conference is the doctoral students’ poster seminars with oral presentations, and this year a total of 64 posters were presented. Other highlights included symposia and keynotes, all addressing this year’s theme “Research Addressing Challenges and Future Directions in Health Care”. The interest in the conference was high this year with approximately 190 registered participants from about ten countries, most of them from Sweden.
The conference concluded with the presentation of the Best Poster Award. The three winners were Klara Drake af Hagelsrum, Daniel Söderberg, and Vera Wachtmeister.
