She will lead an interactive seminar on one of the most fascinating and influential concepts in health professions education: the hidden curriculum.

Professor Martimianakis' scholarship has contributed significantly to our understanding of the social, cultural, and organizational forces that shape learning and professional identity formation in healthcare. In this interactive seminar, participants will have the opportunity to explore and discuss the hidden curriculum; the implicit values, norms, and expectations that influence learning and professional practice alongside the formal curriculum.
