Lectures and seminars Resolving Cell Signaling: From Single Molecules To Network Dynamics
Welcome to a seminar with Dr. Bei Liu, Assistant Professor, National Biomedical Imaging Center College of Future Technology, Peking University.
Speaker
Dr. Bei Liu is an Assistant Professor in the College of Future Technology at Peking University. He earned his Ph.D. in Biophysics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He then trained as a postdoctoral researcher with Klaus Hahn at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he developed biosensors and optogenetic tools to visualize and control protein conformation in living systems. His current research combines AI-driven biosensor design with advanced imaging techniques to investigate protein dynamics and cellular signaling in immune responses and neuronal activity. In this talk, he will present new biosensor designs that reveal protein activity during single-molecule tracking, along with a new single-cell barcoding technique that enables highly multiplexed super-resolution and biosensor imaging.
