On 20 November, Giulia Gaudenzi will participate in The Cells programme series ‘Researchers show art’. During the evening, Giulia will share insights from her research at the Department of Global Public Health and reflect on how art can open up new perspectives on scientific issues.
Giulia Gaudenzi is an assistant professor at the Department of Global Public Health and a researcher at the Division of NanoBiotechnology at SciLifeLab. Her research focuses on advancing point-of-care diagnostics for low-resource settings, aiming to improve healthcare accessibility globally.
After the talk, Quazi Samayeen Rahman, a master's student in biomedicine, will lead a workshop on how origami – the art of paper folding – can be used to explore the connections between patterns, geometry and biology.
