About Susana Puig
Professor Puig is the Director of IDIBAPS, leader of the research group 'Melanoma: Imaging, Genetics and Immunology,' and a researcher at CIBERER. She is also a Full Professor at the University of Barcelona and a board member of several scientific societies.
She obtained her medical degree from the University of Barcelona, specialized in Dermatology in 1992, and earned her PhD in 2000.
She has participated in over 30 competitive research projects and 50 clinical trials, with more than 500 scientific publications and supervision of over 40 doctoral theses and master's dissertations.
