Internal meeting MEB Junior faculty afternoon meeting: grant mock interview

Being invited to a major grant interview is already a significant achievement,  but this is also one of the most intense and decisive stages of the evaluation process. To support two talented early-career researchers Shuyang Yao and Carole Marxer who have recently been invited to grant interviews (for ERC starting grant and the Swiss National Science Foundation), we have organized a grant mock interview, and we warmly invite all MEB JF members to join.

Previous ERC awardees and national-level grant reviewers have kindly agreed to serve as panel members. We would also like to invite you to help the candidates by asking challenging questions, providing constructive feedback, and helping them feel more confident and ready for the real interview.

We hope this open training session will also be useful for everyone who joins. This is a great opportunity to see how major grant interviews are structured, what kinds of questions candidates may face, and how applicants can prepare and survive such high pressure situations.
