The Liver Academy at Karolinska Institutet warmly invites all researchers with an interest in liver biology to join the Liver Academy Conference 2026.
The conference will bring together basic and clinical researchers to foster collaborations across diverse areas of liver research, spanning metabolism, immunology, cancer, and beyond.
The program will feature a keynote lecture by Mathias Heikenwälder, as well as clinical and basic science talks by leading KI researchers and presentations selected from submitted abstracts.
There will also be a Lightning Session, giving participants the opportunity to present a brief talk highlighting their key findings as well as plenty of opportunities for networking, both in dedicated topic-focused sessions and during informal free time.
Registration
Please register and upload your abstracts no later than 24 October.
The conference is free of charge for all participants that submit an abstract. The participation fee for other participants is SEK 1000. The participation includes lunch, dinner, access to the spa, and an overnight stay at Fågelbro Säteri.
Kindly note that registration is on a first come, first served basis due to limited capacity. We encourage early registration to secure your place. As we are mostly fully booked, we will this year also have a no-show fee of SEK 1000.
