Lectures and seminars KI's Ethics Council seminar: Animal research at KI. Present and future activities in relation to ethics and animal welfare
Welcome to this seminar which is jointly organized by the Ethics Council at KI and KI's animal welfare body.
During this seminar, Jane Hurst (Liverpool, UK) will present the latest evidence for the importance of stress-free handling of animals, and we will discuss animal research performed at KI and its importance for basic research and patients.
We will also focus on animal welfare and why it is highly important to keep and treat research animals in the best way possible.
During the panel session we will discuss and try to foresee the future development of animal research.
