Conferences and symposiums Kawasaki disease – bench to bedside
Kawasaki disease is an acute pediatric vasculitis that can affect the coronary arteries. In Sweden, an increasing trend of cases is seen. There is a need for more knowledge about the disease for treating physicians and among the limited number of researchers in the field in Sweden.
We are therefore arranging a symposium on Kawasaki disease to provide an opportunity for interaction with knowledge exchange and creating new collaborations, as well as to encourage research in the field. The aim is also to obtain knowledge from invited international experts.
- No prior registration required.
- Organizer: Marie Wahren-Herlenius, Professor of Experimental Rheumatology at the Department of Medicine, Solna.
