Lectures and seminars Epidemiology-focused ERC workshop
You are all warmly invited to attend an epidemiology-focused ERC workshop supported by SFOepi, on 12 June.
The aim of this workshop is to strengthen the positioning of epidemiological research within the ERC framework, addressing a common misconception that epidemiological and clinical research projects may not align well with ERC funding criteria. On contrary to this perception, successful ERC-funded projects at KI and other Swedish universities demonstrate that epidemiology can be highly competitive. This event will therefore focus on discussing the characteristics that define a competitive epidemiological ERC proposal, including conceptual innovation, methodological advancement, and broad impact.
Throughout the day, participants will hear from ERC awardees, reviewers, and panel member. By facilitating dialogue between these researchers with extensive ERC experience and prospective applicants, the event aims to equip researchers with the tools to better align their projects with ERC expectations.
We warmly encourage anyone with an interest in ERC grants to attend.
