Conferences and symposiums Conference on suicide prevention in transport systems and public environments
It has been estimated that about 15% of all suicides occur in public environments. To strengthen suicide prevention efforts, the National centre for suicide research and prevention (NASP) at Karolinska Institutet and Region Stockholm invites you to a knowledge-building conference featuring current research, national and international experiences, and examples of practical approaches. The conference is in Swedish.
The conference aims to create a shared knowledge base for systematic and long-term suicide prevention work. During the day, current research, national and international experiences, and examples of practical approaches will be presented.
The conference is aimed at staff in Stockholm County working with, for example:
- urban development, physical planning, GIS and building permits
- property management and housing provision
- rescue services, police, SOS Alarm and pre-hospital care
- safety, public health and suicide prevention, and emergency preparedness
A welcome letter will be sent to you a few weeks before the conference.
