Apply for Grants from Sällskapet Barnavård

The Society for Child Welfare announces over 4 million SEK in grants for applications supporting research and further education in the field of pediatric diseases.

Grants for doctoral education and research can be applied for by doctoral students and early-career postdoctoral researchers (up to 8 years after their doctoral degree). It is also possible to apply for a start-up scholarship for research students who are not yet formally registered.

New this year is the opportunity to apply for a framework grant for independent researchers who are associate professors/research group leaders/team leaders (up to 12 years after their doctoral degree).

Research grants can be applied for to cover operational and salary costs, which will be administered by Karolinska Institutet. Indirect costs to Karolinska Institutet (so-called INDI; calculate 22%) must be included in the budget.

Applications can also be made for personal tax-exempt scholarships for doctoral education covering a continuous period of 2–6 months. For start-up scholarships, the monthly amount is 13,000 SEK; for doctoral students, 22,500 SEK/month; and for postdoctoral researchers, 25,500 SEK/month.

Applications must be submitted via our digital system using the following link: https://stiftelseansokan.seb.se/sbs/sallskapet_barnavard.

A CV must be attached to all types of applications.

For framework grants, co-applicants or supervisors should not be defined in the grant system, but the research group's members and their expertise must be described under a specific section.

You will need a Swedish BankID or email with a password to submit your application.

The application form is available in Swedish/English.
