Yoga on the schedule for KI's Vice-Chancellor when visiting NVS

KI’s Vice-Chancellor Ole Petter Ottersen visited NVS on Thursday 19 October together with the management of KI to get a presentation of the organization and discuss strategies, challenges and solutions for the future.

The program consisted of a walk from Novum to the Zanderska house, Alfred Nobel's allé 23 (ANA 23), accompanied by student representatives Elin Frisell and Hanna Rosen from the physiotherapist program, as well as Deputy Head Eric Westman with Head of Administration Ulla Cronfalk-Hernlund.

The first stop of the visit was the first course given university credits on yoga in Sweden, an interprofessional education led by Annette Heijne, senior lecturer and assistant professor, division head of the physiotherapy section. The learning environments in ANA 23 were also viewed.

Maria Eriksdotter, Professor of Geriatrics, Head of department, presented NVS after which important issues for the future were raised in a general discussion with NVS's management team, heads of divisions, employees representing different professions and student and doctoral student representatives.

To end the visit, PhD student representatives Chenhong Lin and Emelie Karlsson accompanied the vice-chancellor to the next department visit at Alfred Nobel's allé 8.
