The importance of psychological safety as a key pillar in both a work and learning environment has been highlighted in the literature in the past few years. At Karolinska Institutet, it is included in the pedagogical policy as one of the guiding principles for quality teaching and learning.

On the 24th and 27th of May, you have the opportunity to participate in workshops to delve deeper into the impact and meaning of psychological safety for teaching and learning. What is psychological safety? What are some potential pedagogical strategies which could be used to make learners feel more psychologically safe?

The workshops are led by Teresa Sörö and Natalie Jellinek, Teaching and Learning.

For whom

The workshop is open to those who are employees or affiliated with KI, but also employees within Region Stockholm and private actors with healthcare agreements. You are also welcome to join if you are an employee at another university!
