On 1 February, the University Dental Clinic will open a new General Dentistry Faculty Practice (Lärarkliniken in Swedish) at Alfred Nobel's Allé 8, Flemingsberg. To start with it's only welcoming students and staff at KI and also former patients at the other clinics at the University Dental Clinic.

At the Faculty Dental Practice, you will be examined and treated by licensed dentists and dental hygienists who otherwise are involved in the training of undergraduate dental and dental hygienist students.  Specialist dental care in all specialities (except maxillofacial surgery) is also available at our Specialist Clinic.

The Faculty Dental Practice is linked to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan), so you can use your general dental care benefit with us. Welcome to our clinic!

Why open a Faculty Dental Practice?

The purpose of the Faculty Dental Practice is actually to create good conditions for our teachers at the dental and dental hygienist educations to retain their clinical skills without being employed elsewhere. It will also be an important channel to find new patients to our students and specialists in training. The consequence for all of us who study or work on Campus Flemingsberg: good dental care nearby.
