Welcome to Annika Bolind Bågenholm, Education Coordinator and Course Director at the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE)!
We would like to welcome Annika Bolind Bågenholm to the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics.
Annika Bolind Bågenholm has a Master of Science in Applied Biotechnology from Uppsala University and studied business at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
She conducted research with the purpose to develop new drugs between 2009 and 2012 in collaboration with different companies and it is at that point that her interest to make use of promising academic research results through industry arouse.
In 2011, Annika started working as a consultant within the Medtech and Biotech industry. In 2012, she co-founded a biotech company that develops 3D imaging systems with the purpose to study events at a molecular level, together with a colleague. She continues to work on a consultancy basis for other companies within the Medtech and Biotech field, and still has some activity in her own company where she is also an active member of the board.
Annika recently joined the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship at LIME as an education coordinator and course director and we are very happy to have her on board.
