Where did you work before coming to KI?

Most recent is Stockholms Stad, specifically the department of Cultural Management where I worked with finance and accounting. Some of my previous tasks were bookkeeping, monthly reconciliations, and internal controls. I also participated in the department’s monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.

Why did you decide for an education in finance?

I was always interested in numbers since primary school, mathematics was my favorite subject. So, when it came to choosing a high school, I applied for the economics program. A combination of the studies and the internship weeks offered at the school resulted to a growing interest in the subject. It was a clear choice to continue to study, and I took my master’s degree in economics at Södertörn University. A little nostalgic to walk past the building on the way here.

What are you most looking forward to with your new job at Labmed?

I am mostly looking forward to getting to know a new organization, my colleagues and the department's research groups. It is also exciting to take part in the interesting and important research that is conducted here. It will be fun to learn everything about the financial work here at KI, to get into my new role and be involved and contribute.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I really enjoy travelling, if I'm not doing that, I'm probably sitting on the sofa reading a book or hanging out with family/friends!
