“As supervisor for the Aging element of the Clinical Medicine course, Vesna Jelic has developed and organised teaching at the geriatric clinic at the Karolinska University Hospital, Huddinge, in an exemplary manner. Through a good working organisation, strong personal commitment and clear teaching goals, under Vesna Jelic’s leadership vocational education in the Aging element has been evaluated positively by students for many years, and achieved excellent results which by far motivates the award of the Educational Prize for 2017.”

This is the reasoning behind the decision to award Vesna Jelic, researcher at the Division of Clinical Geriatrics, the Department of Medicine, Huddinge’s Educational Prize for her leadership of the course in Clinical Medicine for medical students in terms five and six. The prize of SEK 5,000 was awarded in conjunction with a Ground Round at the beginning of October.
