This spring, the university management will be visiting KI’s departments in a series of meetings, and the 6 March the university management will visit GPH for a departmental meeting with the GPH management group. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss how to strengthen dialogue and collaboration and work forward.

President Annika Östman Wernerson, Vice-President Martin Bergö and University Director Veronika Sundström are facing an intense spring, during which they will visit all departments in the four months from mid-January to mid-May. The meetings will centre on the departments’ descriptions of what they do, as well as KI’s future work and how we can strengthen dialogue and collaboration.

"Meeting the university management at GPH is a great opportunity to showcase our department and highlight the important work and research that takes place here. I look forward to presenting the wide range of expertise and drive that we have. I think it is especially important to show our breadth and thus include different professions and research areas of our activities when we represent the department. This is the basis for the selection of participants at the management meeting," says Marie Hasselberg, Head of the Department of Global Public Health.

Another focal point will be KI’s nine strategic focus areas, which are pivotal to achieving the objectives set out in Strategy 2030.
