The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) visited project on Alzheimer´s Disease
SSF´s program committee for the biomarker call visited the project "New imaging biomarkers for early diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease" at Novum, Campus Huddinge.
During the visit, the researchers presented their work to the committee members; Chairman Jan Törnell, Innoext, Ann-Charlotte Aronsson, SLU Holding, Kjell Asplund, Professor at Umeå University and Karin von Wachenfeldt Truly Translational.
The project runs between 2015 and 2019 and includes translational research, from atom and cell to clinic and society. Agneta Nordberg, professor at Karolinska Institutet’s (KI) Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society (NVS) and the Division of Translational Alzheimer Neurobiology, is leading the project.
