The President of Finland visited Karolinska Institutet

[NEWS 18 April 2012] The President of Finland, Sauli Niinistö, his wife Jenni Haukio, H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf and H.M Queen Silvia today visited Karolinska Institutet and Science for Life Laboratory.

Among other things the visitors were given the opportunity to study the unique STED microscope technique used at SciLifeLab

"We are delighted that the President of Finland wanted to come to Karolinska Institutet during his first official visit to Sweden", said Harriet Wallberg-Henriksson, president of Karolinska Institutet. "The Presidential couple as well as the King and the Queen showed a great interest in our work and they seemed very satisfied with what they learned during their visit."
