Strengthened position for KI in new rankings
Karolinska Institutet strengthens its position in two recently published rankings of universities worldwide.
In Times Higher Education, KI advances in subject areas relevant to KI's operations; life science, psychology as well as clinic, pre-clinic & health. Similarly, KI improves the positions in the recently published US News rankings in the areas of social science / public health and psychology.
Overall, KI ranks highest among the Swedish universities in the various measurements and among the best in Europe. Recently, KI also noted its highest position ever in the so-called Shanghai ranking.
"Of course, it is gratifying that we are now receiving further signals that KI is at a very high level globally and is even improving our positions, especially given the fierce and increasing international competition between the world's universities," says President Ole Petter Ottersen in a comment.
