StratNeuro hereby announces funding to support the organisation of research conferences and workshops within the field of neuroscience in 2023.

Support for neuroscience research conference or workshop. Applications are welcome from both junior and senior researchers.

Eligible to apply are individuals who have completed a doctoral degree no later than the end of the application period and are employed by Karolinska Institutet. There is no requirement for co-financing from the department or other funding agencies, but this can strengthen the application.

Please note

  • Members of the StratNeuro board are not allowed to apply for this call.
  • Conferences that have received support from KI centrally (KI committee of Research) are not eligible for this call.

The total budget for the announcement is SEK 300,000 and the maximum amount for one proposal is SEK 150,000. The funds must be used in 2023 and are not to be used for other purposes than the intended conference or workshop. If a physical conference is planned and funded by this initiative, and then changed to a digital conference at a lower cost, the funding may be reduced.
