Conferences and symposiums Stockholm biostatistics network event
The Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet invites all biomedical researchers/practitioners with a mathematics/statistics/computational-based degree to a network meeting. The goal is for researchers in biostatistics and other math-based disciplines to interact and discuss possibilities for collaboration.

Target audience: Biomedical researchers/practitioners with a mathematics/statistics/computational-based degree (e.g., mathematics, statistics, bioinformatics, engineering, physics, computer science).
The organisers are especially interested in meeting researchers from outside KI. We welcome colleagues from all branches (academia/industry/government) and geographic locations.

Tom Britton (Stockholm University) will talk for 30 minutes on Covid-19: Experiences from sudden intensive media interest, and some new research questions
Sandra Eloranta (Karolinska Institutet) will talk for 15 minutes about the clinicum analytic network
Paul Dickman (Karolinska Institutet) will talk for 15 minutes about initiatives to develop biostatistics at KI
The event is co-hosted by the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics and the Clinicum analytic network with funding provided by the Strategic Research Area in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
