Residence Assistant concept in KI Residence Solna

KI Housing has four Residence Assistants working in our accommodation area KI Residence Solna. Their mission is to be a helping hand for tenants staying in the area and to create a community where the tenants get to know their neighbors.

Our ambition with the Residence Assistant concept is a way to improve student life and tenant experience during their time in Sweden.

After working with this concept for over a year, we are happy to receive such positive feedback from both tenants living in the area and other colleagues within KI.

- The Residence Assistants make everyone feel safer and really improve our experience of living in KI housing, says a previous tenant.

Online introduction meetings for arriving tenants

One of the main tasks for our Residence Assistants is to host online introduction meetings in order to welcome arriving tenants to KI Residence Solna and to capture questions or concerns before arrival.

During the introduction meeting, arriving tenants get information about the key pickup procedure, how things work in the area as well as other area essentials. The introduction meeting ends with a Q&A session.

- It was a pleasure to attend the introduction meeting. Although the information that the RAs shared with us was already known by the initial email from KI housing, the QA session was more than helpful. Everyone was willing to help, and the first impressions were excellent!, says Eleni Chronopoulou who was one of the participants in the last online introduction meeting.

KI Housing and our Residence Assistants will continue hosting these appreciated online introduction meetings.

- We hope that arriving tenants feel safer upon arrival in Sweden when they have a friendly face of the Residence Assistants who are already living in the area, says Petrus Jansson, Team Manager of KI Housing.
