Researchers at MEB receive project grants from the Swedish Research Council and NordForsk

Five researchers at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics received project grants from the Swedish Research Council (VR) announcement in Medicine and health.

The total sum from the Swedish Research Council for the department is over 20 million SEK.

Henrik Grönberg is awarded 4,8 million SEK for the period 2021-2024 for the project "Clinical implementation of individualised diagnostics of prostate cancer".

Keith Humphreys is awarded 2,4 million SEK for the period 2021-2023 for the project "New statistical models of tumour growth and spread to study underlying factors for aggressive breast cancer, tumour heterogeneity and individualised screening."

Jonas Ludvigsson is awarded 2,4 million SEK for the period 2021-2023 for the project "Risk of death, cancer and inflammatory bowel disease in 600 000 Swedes with normal intestinal mucosa - a national cohort study".

Arvid Sjölander is awarded 4,8 million SEK for the period 2021-2024 for the project "The effect of obesity on cardiovascular disease: mediation analysis with Mendelian randomisation".

Donghao Lu is awarded a starting grant of 6 million SEK for the period 2021-2024 for the project "Genetic and early life determinants of premenstrual disorders".
