Lectures and seminars PUF-V Workshop: Doing Thematic Analysis: A practical two-day introduction

This two-day course lead by Professor Virginia Braun, visiting from the University of Auckland, is designed to give a hands-on introduction to the doing of thematic analysis, and particularly the reflexive approach developed by Victoria Clarke and Virginia Braun.
The teaching combines a range of pedagogical styles and activities, from mini-lectures through classroom discussion, small-group and individual- class activity, and homework. Through engaging, participants will gain understanding of the potential (and limitations) of thematic analysis, a good grasp of what doing reflexive thematic analysis looks like in practice. Foundational skills related to coding and starting theme development. All these will set them on the path for doing rigorous and theoretically/methodologically coherent analysis.
