Publication in Nature Biotechnology: GUIDE-seq enables genome-wide profiling of off-target cleavage by CRISPR-Cas nucleases.

Zongli Zheng has a position as an international post doc at our department, financed by the Swedish Research Council, and presently works at the Department of Pathology, Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston where he is co-author of this paper on methods to delineate the genome-wide, off-target cleavage activities of CRISPR RNA-guided nucleases, which are widely used genome-editing reagents. The study provides a rigorous framework for genome-wide identification of RGN off-target effects and describes a method for evaluating the safety of these nucleases before clinical use.
