Professor Leslie R Schover visits NVS and gives open seminar
”It is an honor and a privilege to visit the research group HiPLC (Health in Persons with Long-Lasting Conditions) at NVS. The group conduct many interesting projects within areas that I have a great commitment to”, says Leslie R Schover, Professor of behavioral science at MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas.
She is one of the international professors visiting NVS during the week and holding an open seminar within the area health sciences. The visits are organised by the Strategic Research Area in Care Sciences (SFO-V) initiative Global Bridges to Advance Health Care Research Careers for Junior Researchers.
Schover’s research interests include developing interventions to ameliorate sexual problems and distress about infertility after cancer, as well as understanding the role of reproductive health problems after cancer in overall quality of life.
She will give an open seminare on the theme ”A Practical System for Helping Patients with Sexual and Fertility Concerns” at 12.00, on Thursday October 22, room 4P on Alfred Nobels allé 8.
