Professor Jonas F. Ludvigsson elected new president of the Swedish Paediatric Society

Professor Jonas F. Ludvigsson has has been elected president of the Swedish Paediatric Society 2014-16. He used to be the editor of the society’s journal and has also been active in writing text books in paediatrics.

His top priorities for the period are to:

a) establish national clinical guidelines for a number of paediatric medical conditions;

b) improve the education of Swedish paediatric residents;

c) focus on efforts to decrease the incidence of gastroenteritis and upper airway tract infections in young children.
