Professor Jesper Lagergren is awarded the UEG Research Prize 2017
Professor Jesper Lagergren is awarded the distinguished UEG, United European Gastroenterology, Research Prize 2017 for his outstanding project “The aetiology, prevention and treatment of oesophageal cancer”.
The overarching goal of his research is to improve clinical practice and to contribute with an improved prognosis to future patients’ survivorship.
Jesper Lagergren received the Award during the Opening Session of the 25th UEG Week Barcelona 2017 on October 30th, 2017.
